Software Engineer (Backend Development)

Your Role within the Team:  

We are looking for a Backend Engineer to join our team. You will play a crucial role in developing a groundbreaking mental health product. You will be at the heart of developing the backbone of our product and empower our users to have novel mental health experiences. Collaborating directly with our Co-Founders and being part of our Software Team, you will have a unique opportunity to significantly impact our young & dynamic startup, growing alongside us without boundaries. 

Your Key Responsibilities: 

• Build scalable backend systems and APIs.
• Develop our backend system with a focus on a high quality, maintainable and scalable application.
• Translate high-level ideas and requirements into great performing solutions.
• Drive the implementation of a clean architecture using best practices. 
• Establish a high-quality tech culture and be proud to share it. 

What you need to be successful: 

• Significant professional experience, preferably in fast-growing, international companies
• Experience with mobile development or data engineering is a plus.
• Familiarity with and a desire to work in a modern product & tech setup.
• A continuous drive to expand your knowledge and skills in Software Development.
• A strong passion for developing technology, demonstrated via engaging side projects or research.
• A proactive mindset, hands-on mentality and a desire to move fast.
